A student (who identifies as black) at my school is learning 3D printing. He sent out an email looking for people interested in purchasing them. They started appearing on ears all over campus. Many of the faculty like to support the students when they are trying new things and promoting them. Plus the earrings are cool, they are 3D cubes, but only the outline. They kind of look like little drawings when you wear them. I haven't gotten them yet, but paid him to reserve a pair.
