STEP 1
FINDING A BLACK-OWNED BUSINESS IN WASHINGTON
In your envelope, you'll find a list of several businesses not far from the TCG conference site in Washington, D.C., as well as a few online shops. You can find other business listings on the sites below, or by asking around.

FINDING A BLACK-OWNED BUSINESS IN YOUR HOME COMMUNITY
You are welcome to spend your $10 at a business near your home, or wherever you may be traveling in the next couple of weeks. A good place to start is online at your local African American Chamber of Commerce. Asking around is another good way to find black-owned businesses.
In either case, you must ascertain that the business is black-owned. The owner of the business identifies it as such.
STEP 2
DOCUMENT YOUR TRANSACTION
Document your participation by filling out the form. You are welcome to send us text, an image, video and/or a sound file. Please include at least one image of the product or service by itself, with no people in it. We encourage you to respond in your own way, in your own medium, and we will upload contributions on this site.
