I was excited to participate in One Large. It was just another reminder of how segregated Buffalo is as a city and that no black businesses were in my normal routine and I wanted to change that. Although I had a month to use my $10, I waited until the last day to do so. In the end, my husband had to help make the purchase. I was busy, and he knew just the place to go. He had spent years as a paramedic traveling through all parts of the city. We had classic barbecue, which was delicious. I'd never had it before. I'm looking forward to going back.
