​I have to say, I couldn't imagine how difficult it would be to find a black-owned business I could easily visit. I'm so much more aware now and determined to seek out black-owned businesses more often.

I found Martha's Joy HomeStyle Pickles at a local farmer's market and am thrilled to try the watermelon rind pickle. It was a pleasure to talk with David Jackson (pictured) who continues with the business in honor of his late wife Martha.
