This coffee house is a a block away from my place of work and many of my co-workers frequent it for coffee breaks. The reason I know this is a black-owned business is because the owner is often there to greet his customers, make coffee, and ring them up. This business has only been around a few years but it's such a part our the lives of not only my co-workers but many of the Laney Community College students and Bay Area Transit workers that come for a coffee fix.
