This is a fantastic neigborhood restaurant that I have been patronizing off and on for years. It is a gem, with reliably good food, a great bar, and a mixed Brooklyn crowd. Until I did a little online research for this project around where I could spend my $10 in my own neighborhood, I had no idea this was a black-owned business. I have noticed that the clientele is decidedly more diverse racially than elsewhere in this rapidly gentrifying area. I went there for brunch today with an old friend, and of course got absorbed in our conversation and didn't take a pic of our meal, but I got a shot of the great sign outside and one of the remnants of our second iced coffees and iced teas.
