​Chat's Liquors is located across the street from my old job. I have rarely gone there since relocating six years ago (parking is impossible and I have neighborhood stores that are more convenient), but the young man who runs the business is one of the best examples of customer service in DC. He's worked to expand his clientele by partnering with nearby restaurants for events and offering wine tastings. It was nice to go back and revisit my old stomping grounds (I bought a couple bottles of wine). I was sorry not to see the owner, as he was out that day.
