The business was not new to me, but I've recently moved farther away from it; it is always full, a true community place. It took me an extra 45 minutes to stop by there and made me think about how we have to go out of our way sometimes to support the businesses that we want to survive—because the ‘prime real estate’ for restaurants is taken up by white-owned chains.
