​This is one of my favorite restaurants, and I go often. I normally dine in but was grabbing dinner before seeing a play, so I got takeout. What was exciting to me was that
I bought food to share with a friend, and I learned after my purchase that she had never eaten Ethiopian food. I was so glad to be able to share that experience with her. Plus, she loved it.

When I committed to this project, my intention was to support a business that was new to me. But time ran away from me, and I couldn't do the research I wanted. Because of this project, and in the wake of yet more black men dying at the hands of the police, I've decided to do the research anyway for future shopping, so that I can divert more of my spending power to POC-owned businesses.
